// Web and mobile
Website first, or sports betting app development for iOS and Android?
You choose. Many operators create a sportsbook as a website first, one that works in every phone browser, then add native apps once the brand has players. Others launch everything on day one. As a sports betting app development company we build the apps on the same backend, wallet and admin as the website, so a bet placed in the app shows up in the dashboard a second later.
Both stores accept betting apps only under clear rules. Apple asks for a licence in every place the app is used, geo restriction to those places, and a free download. Google Play asks for an approved application, a licence per country, age checks and geo blocking. We build those checks in from the first version, so store review holds no surprises.

Your sportsbook app is published under your own developer accounts.
What the player side covers
- Sports, leagues and markets you decide to offer
- Prematch and live betting with a bet slip for singles and combos
- Registration, identity and age checks before the first deposit
- Deposit limits, time outs and self exclusion
- Bet history, open bets and cash balance in one place
- Languages, currencies and odds formats per market
// Admin dashboard
Sportsbook management software your team can run without a developer
Sportsbook management software is where the business happens, so the admin gets as much design work as the player side. Your team opens players, bets, markets, payments and bonuses from one menu. Pausing a market, changing a limit or approving a withdrawal is one click, not a ticket to the developers.
- Player profiles with the full history of deposits, bets and logins
- Markets, margins and which sports appear on the site
- Bonus rules, promotions and player limits
- Roles, so support does not see what finance sees
- Reports on turnover, gross gaming revenue and payouts, exported to a spreadsheet

// Live odds
Live betting software that follows every match second by second
Live betting software stands or falls on speed. Odds arrive from the data provider you choose and reach the player's screen in real time. When a goal is scored or the feed slows down, the market suspends itself before anyone can bet on stale odds. When the match ends, every bet is settled and paid automatically, with nobody marking results by hand.
- The odds provider you choose, prematch and live
- Your own margin per sport, league or market
- Automatic suspension on goals, cards and feed delays
- Automatic settlement and payout at full time
- Odds history for every market, for the day a player disputes a bet

// Risk management
How does risk management protect a sportsbook?
It shows where you can lose money before it happens. The risk center counts liability on every outcome, so you see at once which result would cost you most. Limits are set per player group. Alerts fire for patterns worth a look: several accounts on one device, a stake far above a player's usual one, or one bonus claimed again and again.
Rules can act on their own, for example closing a market when the feed is late or lowering limits after a long winning streak. Your risk team decides which rules act alone and which only warn.

// Payments
Payments with cards, crypto, PayPal and bank transfer
Players deposit the way they already pay. We integrate the providers you have contracts with: card processors for Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, PayPal, crypto gateways for Bitcoin, Tether and Ethereum, and bank transfer. Card data goes straight to the processor and never passes through your server.
Not every provider accepts betting. PayPal, for example, takes gambling payments only from approved merchants in places where gambling is legal. We help you pick providers that fit your licence and your market, then connect as many as you need before you start your own sportsbook.

// Support
Customer support with AI agents that know your platform
Most betting support questions repeat: where is my withdrawal, why do you need a document, how does this bonus work. AI agents answer those from your own data, so a withdrawal question gets the real status of that withdrawal, not a template. Limits, complaints and anything that needs judgement go to a person, together with the whole conversation.
- Answers from payment records, bets and your own rule book
- Documents read by AI and approved by a person
- Handover to your team with the full history
- The languages your players write in

// Ownership
Who owns the sportsbook software when it is finished?
You do. The source code of the website, the apps, the admin and every service is handed over, together with the database, the servers, the domain and the App Store and Google Play accounts in your company's name. There is no revenue share and no monthly licence fee to us.
If you later want another team to continue, everything is documented and they can start the next day. That is the main difference between custom sportsbook software and renting a platform.

// Compare
Custom sportsbook software, white label sportsbook or turnkey?
A white label sportsbook is the fastest start, because you rent a ready platform and often operate under the provider's licence. A turnkey sportsbook is a ready platform under your own licence, for a setup fee and ongoing charges. Building your own takes longer, but the design, the features and the code are yours, and no share of revenue leaves every month.
| Custom build | White label | Turnkey | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Code | Yours | The provider's | Usually the provider's |
| Design | Built for your brand | Their template with your logo | Configurable theme |
| Licence | Yours | Often the provider's | Yours |
| Ongoing cost | Hosting, plus support if you want it | A share of revenue | Platform fees, often a share of revenue |
| New features | You | The provider's plan | The provider's plan, sometimes paid extra |
| Leaving | Nothing to leave, it is yours | Start again | Move players and data out |
These are the usual terms on the market. Contracts differ from provider to provider, so read the one you are offered. More detail in white label sportsbook vs turnkey vs custom build, what to check before you buy sportsbook software and how to choose between sportsbook software providers.
// How it works
How does a sportsbook development company build yours?
To start your own sportsbook with us takes four steps. We agree the markets, countries, payments and apps, design every screen before code, build on a link you can open from the first weeks, then connect the providers, pass store review and hand everything over. Scope and delivery dates are written down before the build starts.
01
Scope and design
Countries, sports, payments and apps agreed, then every player and admin screen designed.
02
Build in the open
A working link that updates every week, so nothing is a surprise at launch.
03
Connect and test
Odds provider, payment providers, identity checks and store review, tested end to end.
04
Launch and hand over
Code, accounts and documentation go to you, and your team is trained on the admin.
// Straight answers
How to start a sportsbook?
To start a sportsbook, begin with the licence, because it decides where you may take bets and on which terms. Then sign a data provider for odds and results, and payment providers that accept betting in your market. After that comes the platform: the player side, the admin and the apps. Identity checks, age verification and responsible gambling tools belong in the build from day one, because regulators and app stores both ask for them. The full route is in our guide on how to become a bookmaker.
How long does it take to start your own sportsbook?
Once the licence is in place, it depends on three things: web only or web with apps, how many payment providers, and how many markets you open on day one. A web platform with one odds provider and a few payment methods is the shortest path. Native apps add store review on top. After the scoping step you get a written plan with a delivery date for every part, and the dates do not move unless the scope does.
Do we need our own gambling licence?
Yes. The licence belongs to the operator, not to the software company, and it is issued by the regulator of the country where you take bets. We build the platform to the technical rules your regulator sets, such as identity checks, limits and reporting, and we prepare the system documentation a regulator asks for.

Sports software we already run
Xaslarbet is our own sports analytics platform for bettors. It is not a sportsbook, but it runs on the same parts a sportsbook needs: sports data feeds for football, baseball, basketball, ice hockey and American football, a web platform with a mobile app, and an admin with its own analytics.
Members pay through PayPal and crypto, and the payment side, the data pipeline and the app were all built by the same team that would build your sportsbook.

// FAQ
Common questions before you start your own sportsbook
Five questions come up in almost every first call: the price, the odds provider, languages and currencies, white label as a cheaper start, and what happens after launch.
How much does it cost to start your own sportsbook with you?+
The price of the platform follows the scope: web only or with apps, how many payment and data providers, and how much of the admin you need at launch. You get a fixed price in writing after the scoping step, and it does not change unless you change the scope. There is no revenue share and no fee per player.
Can you connect the odds provider we already use?+
Yes. The platform is built around the provider you choose, for prematch and live. If you do not have one yet, we explain what to compare between providers: sports covered, delay, price and support. The contract stays between you and the provider.
Can the platform run in several languages and currencies?+
Yes. Languages, currencies, time zones and odds formats, decimal, fractional or American, are set per market. Each country can also get its own payment methods and its own limits.
Is a white label sportsbook cheaper to start?+
At the start, usually yes, because the platform already exists. Over the years the revenue share adds up, and the platform, the design and often the player data stay with the provider. If you plan to run the brand for years, compare that share with the one time cost of owning the software.
What happens after launch?+
You can run it with your own team, since the code and the documentation are yours. Or we stay on a support plan for updates, monitoring, new markets and new payment methods. Launch is only the first step, and nothing about the next ones is locked to us.

Tell us what you're building
Send a few lines about what you are building and you will get a reply with concrete questions, not a generic brochure. If the site already exists, send the address, so we can look at it before the call and come prepared. After the first call you get a plan and a fixed quote.
